Children feel uninterested and sometimes are afraid of math and science. However, making them interested in these subjects is very easy. Here are some ways to help you in this process.

You need to make your kids interested in these subjects right from an early age so that they do not feel bored later during schooling. You can supply your kid with dominoes, counting cubes and other games that make math interesting. Children often find it difficult to remember multiplication tables, how to perform arithmetic operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Teaching kids with fun makes them more interested in the subject. So, always try to find interesting ways to teach math operations.

Make them learn multiplication tables from an early age. Ask them to recite the tables in a rhythm so that they do not get bored. Playing dice and learning math can go hand in hand. Ask your kid to roll the dice and make him learn various arithmetic operations. Allow them to play count and math games on computer too. Kids are excited to use computer. So, they can get entertainment as well as interest towards the subject.

In order to make kids interested in science, take your children to science museum or zoo. Allow them to watch television programs showing interesting animals and birds. Certain television shows on educational stations such as Discovery Channel and Animal Planet may entertain your child and make him or her interested in science topics.
