Electric heaters are important for providing heat to spaces by reducing the energy wastage. These are available in the models which provide heat to large spaces and to limited spaces. These space heaters are efficient at providing heat to required spaces, thus reducing the wastage of energy. Electric space heaters come in two types – radiative space heaters and convective space heaters, both are efficient at producing heat.
Radiative space heaters: These systems come with direct heat producing technology, when you switch on the system it directly emit radiations which heat the objects. Radiative space heaters are instant heat generators, these systems commonly use quartz bulb, halogen lamps and metal coils which produce heat.
Convective space heaters: These systems are not instant heat producers, these produce heat gradually. These systems increase the indoor air temperature gradually by taking time. These heaters comes in various forms such as fan heaters, ceramic heaters and oil filled heaters. Though they produce standard levels of heat, instant on/off facility is not available with these heaters.
Electric space heaters are efficient ones at producing heat and saving energy, electric heaters are more beneficial to users as they facilitate easy installation and maintenance. Electric space heaters convert the electric power in to heat form for nearly 100 percent. These electric heaters do not produce flames, ash and carbon monoxide. These electric space heaters are becoming more popular due to their eco friendly heating technology.
