Monitoring brakes is mandatory when it comes to vehicle safety because it is one of the important parts of car or any vehicle that wears out regularly. Most people are unaware of the signs of brakes which indicates they may need repair or maintenance. For issues like safety and performance of the car, you should replace brakes, if they are in worn state. However, a properly working brake system helps you operate vehicle in a safe and controlled manner under various conditions.

Your car braking system works thus: whenever you apply pressure on the brake pedals, it forces brake fluid to engage with complex systems. This forces the brake pad onto disc rotor which causes friction and brings your car to stop. Car brake pads are fitted to the brake caliper which controls the brake pads.

Brake calipers consist of caliper housing in which a group of pistons (or a single piston) pushes or releases when the brake pedal is pressed or released. Rubber components inside the brake system take care of not leaking of brake fluid from the system.

It is, therefore, always better for you to be alert and know the warning signs of brakes that give you trouble. Whenever you apply brakes, you see any odd signs like car moving to left or right, and brakes giving you any sounds, you should immediately send your car for inspection. If you find any problems in brakes, you need to solve it immediately which helps you drive safely.
