With busy lifestyles, parents these days are concerned with a common problem and that is childcare. Hiring a nanny or a babysitter is one of the solutions for providing the best childcare. However, the childcare depends on the age of the children. Different things will be included in caring infants, kids below 3 years of age and those below 5 years of age. Preschool teachers fulfill the childcare for kids who are under five years of age. They work to improve the physical, intellectual and social growth of the kids.

They have to provide a playful learning environment for the children. They educate them how to interact with others and also help them with their daily needs. They prepare daily lesson plans for specific learning activities. They prepare activities in arts and crafts, singing and listening to music, and imaginative games. They must also arrange some outdoor activities and games for kids. The coordination and motor skills of children are developed through them. While arranging them, the preschool teachers must be careful and make sure that a safe play environment is created.

They are also involved in providing a nurturing and comfortable environment by considering the basic needs of the children. They must help them with their bathroom needs. They have to feed them and serve the beverages. In order to enhance the intellectual development of the kids, they read stories and work with children on learning the alphabet and counting. They arrange various activities to make them identify colors, pictures of animals and shapes, and so on. It is also their responsibility to evaluate the progress and behavior of kids and discuss them with their parents.
