A two feet high poultry wire fence is the most effective form of protection. The fence should be buried at least 2 inches or put so close to the ground in order to keep the rabbits from digging the fence. Ensure that the mesh is 1-2 inch wide with a fence posted every 6-8 feet. A garden netting or anti-animal netting can be placed over the vegetables. The other idea is to plant onions around your garden. Rabbits do not like them and hence, get away. You can also plant clover, which is their favorite, around the garden so that they take it over the vegetables.
